I won the American Crafts Facebook Challenge! A gigantic Thank You to all for making this possible!

From family (especially all my fab cousins!!! Btw, check out one of my cousin’s blog shop here), to scrapping friends online and in class who whipped out their iPhones to ‘like’ my layout, from babes and boss to ex-colleagues, from friends in Indonesia to friends from the States, to Mr S who ‘liked’ it at the last minute and everyone who voted for me. A huge thank you!! Oh and especially to my 3 year-old niece for the cutest photos!

This is the first time i won a voting contest and i’m so thrilled! You guys are AWESOME =)

And you know how much i love Harry Potter. I have got the DVDs for seven films and i watch them over and over again! Can’t wait for the last one to be out in DVD. I was searching YouTube for Potter related videos and i came across this really bittersweet one. *sob*

Time for some Cosmo Cricket love =)

A couple of weeks ago, I was tasked with creating an album as a wedding gift to the bride. I would be given about 20+ photos to put in a mini album. So i decided to use a accordian technique and lots of Cosmo Cricket‘s Salt Air and Upcycle paper for this, selecting only the pink and yellow papers. I even decided it would look great in a paper luggage from PaperMarket so i popped it in! Photos overload ahead!

I love how the 5″ x 6″ album fits perfectly in this medium sized luggage. Gonna get more of these for my stash =)

Mostly Cosmo Cricket’s Upcycle papers, plus PaperMarket blooms, Prima fabric trim and Zva swirly bling.

Twined the spine…a really useful idea from Sharon. It really adds texture to an album! You can twine twine too =)

Close up. I love the bottom right the best. I was searching for an idea for the mini album and those words in the little circle helped heaps!

Accordioned the pages together..

Every page is Cosmo Cricket or yellow and pink cardstock. Easiest way to create an album is to use everything from the same brand and same collection. In this case…whatever that’s from Cosmo Cricket that is yellow or pink!
