Today i would like to share with you a simple project, made with 6″ x 6″ Cosmo Cricket Social Club mini papers.
Yup that’s right, come on, whip out all those mini stacks that you have bought and do something with it!
This album is really simple to make.
First, prepare your inside pages. You can have as many pages as you like, but too many will make it hard to fold. I have used 9 pages. As the papers were single-sided, i glued two pieces back to back. This will also make it more sturdy!
You will also need a piece of 12″ x 6″ paper for the wrap-around cover.
Next, score the inside pages at the 1″ mark.
Arrange them alternately, as per the photo below!
Fold the 12″ x 6″ paper at the 5″ mark, and that will be the cover. Doesn’t the cover page looks like it is gonna eat up the insides? *munches on*
Fold it in at the right side. As you fold the inside pages, you will realise that the whole signature (the inside pages..trying to be professional here by using the proper jargon *haha*) will jut out. This wrap-around cover will literally ‘cover’ the problem!
To secure the whole book, you can either sew it with string, or in this case, simple use a brad!
To close the album, we now need to set an eyelet on the flap, tie in a ribbon…
Choose a nice embellishment, in this case, a Cosmo Cricket tape (LURVE IT!), and secure it at the end of the ribbon. That would be the ‘stopper’
Wrap the ribbon around, and ‘stopper’ it!
TADAAAA! Leave a comment by the 28 May and i’ll do a random drawing for this mini album done with Cosmo Cricket’s UpCycle..inside and out!!

Im just curious… how do you do a random draw… hehe!!
*Suaku to the max*
Thanks for this! I’ve bought some 6×6 paper pads (3 for $20! What a great deal!) to try it out myself. Does it work with just plain glue though? I imagine it won’t be strong enough.
Hello Faz (i assume you are the Fazlina i know? *hees*)! I used Beacons glue for this project but i guess tape glue works. As long as the normal glue sticks, should be fine! Don’t use glue that will warp the papers though..it wouldnt be nice =) I would usually recommend acid free glue =)
Thanks for the tutorial and the chance to win your mini book! =)
