I remember writing to Lindsay & Julie at Cosmo Cricket once (in ‘08!) and saying just how much i love their products. I tried describing why i like them and ended up with ‘whimsical yet antiquey’. i just love the look…the whimsical look…yet vintage….and i guess with love…you just can’t describe what it really is!
and my heart leaped a beat (together with the whole scrapbooking world i’m sure) when i read that Cosmo Cricket is looking for a design team!! Hope you’re loving what you see here Julie, Eric and Lindsay! For more of my other layouts/projects, do hop over to my scrapbooking profile =)
P.S. i’m sure i’m low maintenance =)

yup…in July…some things will come to an end…but i’m hoping that when one door closes..another opens for me and for you =)
First things first..my boss at work is leaving =( Everyone in the team is really sad and i guess morale is kinda low at the moment…She is a nice boss who grooms her team and gives each and everyone of us an opportunity to grow, but will always be there to back us up. This move is a great opportunity for her and i wish her all the very very best!! Gonna miss you, Geraldine!
Next up, i’m sure everyone in the whole scrapbooking world must already know, Cosmo Cricket, American Crafts and Cocoa Daisy are all holding DT calls! Quick get your entries in =) i’ll be throwing my name in the hat too *fingers crossed*
Have you seen the newest release from Basic Grey? They just arrived this week at our local scrapbook store, Made With Love and i was happy to receive it as part of my DT kit this week! Here’s what i did with the gorgeous papers from the June Bug line.
My brother, my guardian angel

Supplies: Basic Grey June Bug pp, element stickers, alphas & doilies (laser-cut pp), Hambly, American Crafts Thickers, October Afternoon cards, Ranger gold sticklers
She’s Mine

it has been a while since i’m so pleased with my layouts..and it was not-surprisingly spurred on by a comment by a fellow scrapper who said that i will be remembered for the 3D type layouts i do =) It has been a while since i POPPED my pages i think and i think that is still what i love most!
Let’s pray that July will be a new beginning.

all thanks to my Godmama! Well..the story is that i passed my driving test in January 2008 and havent driven much since…cos you know…there are other better drivers around and i don’t want to be a road hazard! Most importantly…it’s quite scary to drive…having to change gears and all…
and so, yesterday after a choir practise session in church, we went for drinks and then my dear Godmama asked me to drive! Much reluctantly…i hopped into the driver’s seat…(at this point in time, Audrey and my Godmama both diligently put on their seat belts!!! haha)
..and i managed to drive Audrey safely home and dropped myself off at my block…
i have to say it was fun to drive but i’m really not very good at it (hope Godmama is not reading this!!! If not she will make me practice….zzz..)
So total count is THREE. The number of times i have driven since i passed! That’s my little rambling for today!! =)
God bless!

Thanks for all the lovely msgs!! I’m always very excited each time i get a email informing me that someone left a response =) It never fails to brighten my day! I’m kinda like a blog stalker who goes around lurking but very seldom do i leave a response…i think i need to do that more!! =)
Before i go surfing around…here’s a project done for the Plum Star Search! The challenge is ‘All That Glitters!’ and i finally used the lovely Tea Towel from October Afternoon!

For the below transparency, i glittered the back of it so i don’t cover any words, and added a coat of paint (also at the back) to bring out the glitter and words!

I love this photo of rebecca!!!! It was a lucky shot =) i’ve learnt to take multiple shots for kids cos let me tell you….each and every one will be different and you will never know what you will capture!!
AND…the new Vintage Plum kit “Alphabet Soup” is out!!! You have to watch the reveal video….i love alphas….i love alphas…..did i say i love alphas?? and CONGRATS TO GRETA FOR BEING THE JUNE GUEST DESIGN TEAM MEMBER AT VINTAGE PLUM!!
and the June Qtea Kit is out!!! It is full of anything ocean, sea and sand!! It is currently sold out at the Qtea Etsy Store but if you want to pre-order for the next few months, email Jodi =) This way you will never miss a kit! For Singaporean scrappers, shipping is really cheap (only AUD2.80) so don’t wait!!

AND AND AND…you might have seen from this post that Amy have sent me some of their cutest colour kits to work on…and i have completed my projects!!! It was tough just to choose a few colours to work on….i could work on all the rainbow colours i tell ya!!! And the best part is….each kit is unique!!!! Keep a lookout on the Gauche Alchemy blog! =)
AND AND AND AND…Made With Love is having a Scrapping Journey theme this month..check out the offers in this month’s newsletter!!

Update re the Perth photos: finally got them all…and now it’s time for the tedious sorting…it is going to take a while i think!
Ok everyone! Have a great week ahead and God bless!
